Opening Day Weekend for the 2021 season
We will be open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 10-4. You are welcome anytime we are open. Contact us if you'd like to schedule a tour for schools, homeschools, and other groups.

About the Event
We were closed all of the 2020 season but now we are back and excited about the upcoming 2021 season! We will open Bluebonnet Festival weekend, April 8-10, 2021. Our hours will be Thursday-Saturday from 10am to 4pm. Come at anytime and tour the museum and fort grounds. There are picnic tables where you can eat lunch. In the future, we plan to have some hiking trails for you to enjoy. Opening weekend and the last weekend of our summer months, you will be able to see people carrying out tasks that were done way back when like blacksmithing, pottery, etc. We whope to see you soon!
